We stayed 2 nights in July 2006 at “350 on Argyle” in apartment 3 and were very impressed. It’s a beautiful Victorian Georgian building listed with the Tasmanian Heritage Council and has been recently renovated to a very high standard.||Apartment 3 consisted of a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, large bedroom, bathroom with laundry and separate toilet. The bedroom was spacious with plenty of wardrobe space and room for luggage. There was another (locked) door which I think is a second bedroom with 2 single beds, we only required one bedroom. The furnishings were comfortable and modern, panel heaters provided plenty of warmth (winter is cold in Hobart!).||The tariff included a delicious and generous continental breakfast with plunger coffee, a basket of fresh fruit and free port with Tasmanian made truffles on arrival. Fantastic!||Location is perfect as a base in Hobart, only about 15 minutes easy walk or 5 minutes drive to the city centre which is close to the waterfront and Salamanca Place. Just 2 minutes around the corner is the North Hobart restaurant strip, we had great meals at Sen’s Asian and Vinadols Indian restaurants.||Also within 2 minutes walk is the State Cinema which shows fabulous films, not necessarily block-busters, but better, sometimes Australian new release films that you don’t get to see in the bigger cinemas. North Hobart oval is also very close.||It is very quiet considering close proximity to city etc. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Hobart.|

We have stayed in both apartments at different times and found them to be great. We have a small child so an apartment is essential. I am quite fussy about cleanliness and we have always found them very clean. The owner is very helpful and the apartments have everything you need eg washing machine, powder, washing up gloves etc. If you have a car the location is great although it is a little way out of town if you are on foot. The North Hobart restaurant strip is just around the corner. The front apartment is on the road but the bedroom has double glazed windows so noise is not a problem. I would stay here again.

We stayed at 350 on Argyle from 18/03/2009 to 20/03/2009. ||||Neville was a great host. Free wifi Internet on the supplied computer, free Foxtel in the lounge and bedroom, as well as free use of the washing machine and dryer. Neville was also more than willing to offer advice about the town and best times to see things including Mt Wellington. Unfortunately all we saw of Mt Wellington was cloud, can't win them all.||||Neville was having problems with a neighbour at the time, so there was no onsite parking, but that wasn't a problem as there was plenty of unrestricted street parking around.||||Elizabeth Street and all the restaurants it has to offer were within a few minutes walk. We had problems finding a place where we didn't need a booking for dinner on the Saturday night, so watch out.
