We are staying here for our Wedding Anniversary and have loved it so much, we have booked a second night. The rooms are beautiful, very comfy beds, and the staff have been simply amazing. We were totally spoilt with a romance element with flower petals, bubbly, and a personalized note. Everything was perfect. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Highly recommend!!

I’ve stayed in a lot of motels, and this one is hands down the best. It’s very well appointed, super clean, and in addition to fully functioning central air, there’s also a fan—for those like me who appreciate some airflow. ?

Check-in was easy and quick, and besides getting a fob to access your room, you can also use a PIN code, which is great if you don’t like carrying extra things in your pocket.

Great hotel stay! Rooms were absolutely beautiful, and had everything you would need for a short stay. I stayed in a studio apartment, and it was extremely modern with a 4k Phillips TV, microwave combi oven, and a black decor bathroom. Decent value too, especially if you book direct as you get access to the gym, and a bottle of wine. Undercover parking is located directly opposite your rooms. Would recommend

Everything about 291 on King makes for a great stay. Was greeted by Jayne on reception who was so welcoming, professional and above & beyond helpful. Also received a complimentary bottle of wine for booking direct with 291. Free secure parking. Lovely shower with HOT water & great pressure. Rooms are modern and very clean! Appointed with everything you would need. Bed and pillows extremely dreamy! Great location. Booked by chance but will be a forever return booking. Great work 291 on King, can’t say a bad word! thanks for having us.

Checked out of 291 on King yesterday after enjoying a really pleasant stay. My first encounter with this serviced apartment venue and its both thumbs up from me. This is a well-organised apartment style accommodation with very friendly and attentive staff. The building itself has modern decor, included parking and located rather centrally with just a short walk to the waterfront, restaurants & pubs. I stayed in a Studio room which I found spacious including a king bed and everything you need (see website for room inclusions). The room was very clean, well laid out and had an en suite style bathroom which was excellent. To be able to come and go with your car was terrific and there was no shortage of parking spaces. I also had a fab breakfast at the Foundry Cafe on the ground floor which made great coffee and food that was generous and made with love. The entire premises is neat, tidy and clean which I rate as most important for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again when next in Newcastle. Thank you 291 on King.

My recent stay at 291on King Hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. The service was extremely disappointing, and it seemed as though cleanliness was not a priority for the staff.

Firstly, the dishwasher in our room was filthy and clearly had not been cleaned properly. I found food residue from previous guests, which was utterly disgusting and unacceptable for any hotel.

To make matters worse, I discovered hair in the bed sheets. This was not just a single hair but multiple strands, indicating that the linens had not been changed or laundered before my stay. It was incredibly unhygienic and left me questioning the overall cleanliness of the entire hotel.

Despite bringing these issues to the attention of the staff, the response was indifferent and unhelpful. No effort was made to rectify the situation or to make my stay more comfortable.

I would not recommend 291on King Hotel to anyone. The lack of cleanliness and poor service made for a truly unpleasant experience. I hope the management takes serious steps to improve their standards, as this level of negligence is simply unacceptable.
