We had a great experience during our stay! Arman was very helpful and friendly—he assisted us smoothly during check-in and made us feel welcome right away. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Everything was well-maintained, and the staff were all courteous and professional. Highly recommended!

We stayed for 5 nights from May 31 to June 5, 2025.
The hotel provides free simple breakfast (just coffee, pastry and fruits) available 24/7.
For the pastry, it’s only available from 6 to 10 AM
And of course, there’s also a microwave in the room
Big thanks to Mr. Rei for the awesome service — two thumbs up!
Super friendly (and turns out we’re both Indonesian!).
Really appreciate all the tips and info you shared about Sydney, especially the cool spots that weren’t on our itinerary. Thanks to you, we got some fresh ideas to explore Sydney more deeply — especially since we’re staying here for 10 nights!

Had an 8 day stay in 28 Hotel. Pros are good location, attentive housekeeping, free coffee and small breakfast in the mornings, friendly receptionists. The rooms have everything you need, showers have good water pressure, sheets are clean.
Cons are no windows in the rooms, limited room space. Doors and carpet are dark blue which make the space seem even smaller and gloomier. You can often hear other guests as they walk down the hallway, the sink has very little space so it's hard to fit toiletries on it. We were in a double room and my side of the bed did not have a socket so it was a bit silly having to get up to charge phone on the wall socket before sleeping.
If you're not fussy and budget conscious, then it's an adequate stay.

Couldn’t fault anything about this stay. Friendly staff, spacious, clean and comfy rooms, quiet despite being on a busy road, reasonably priced. Had a great stay here and will be back! Had issues contacting them on their phone line but they were rapid responders over email.

8.4|“Friendly & helpful staff”|I enjoyed my stay at 28 Hotel. Kieran & Angee was very friendly and helpful. The location is great, only about a 10-min walk from Central Station, and close to bus stations, too. If you have a lot of luggage, just ask Kieran or Angee to arrange a shuttle to the airport so you dont have to lug them around. The assorted free pastry for breakfast and 24/7 coffee & tea was a nice touch. The room was clean and had everything you need: electric kettle, microwave, iron, and even an ironing board! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The reception staff were awesome, sorting out my double booking mess caused by Agoda. (Seriously, skip Agoda when booking) Great location, easy to get around to most of the spots.They even gave me drinks (tea, coffee, water) and free breakfast pastries. Amazing value for the price!

It ticked all our boxes being so convenient to central station, easy to get to/from the airport and it’s also very close to where we wanted to be in Sydney to eat/drink/sightsee.|Katia was outstanding booking us into the same room each time, or the ‘same’ room on a different floor.|We stayed there on 4 separate occasions in December and January 25 inbetween visits to other States and countries, and also family visits in Nelson Bay.|We had a Queen Max room which was huge but could have had some more storage space. However we didn’t want to spend much time in the room and we didn’t really need to fully unpack on each visit.|The doors are heavy so we became accustomed to making sure they close quietly otherwise they slammed shut and were noisy.|I took a few things from the breakfast buffet in reception a couple of times and it was adequate for our needs.|We would return here,|The bed was very comfy and the bathroom well equipped and clean.
